I'm trying to do some scrapbooking. I don't necessarily do it in order but I need to try to get some done. That is my goal this year. This is my daughter and granddaughter (tried to hide faces) Christmas 2007.
Paper: Soft Suede, Real Red, Whisper White CS, Christmas Cocoa DSP (retired)
Ink: Soft Suede, Versa Mark
Stamps: CTMH stamp that correlates with Art Philosophy
Misc.: Cricut Art Philosophy and Christmas Noel, Iridescent Ice EP, Pearls, Rhinestones, Dazzling Details and Dazzling Diamonds, Dimensionals, Two-way glue, Soft Suede ribbon (retired)
This is a card I made with a Sale A Bration stamp set. Uses Peach Parfait and Tempting Turquoise. The Love is heat embossed with Tempting Turquoise EP and then I used markers to fill in the letters and little hearts. I dry embossed the base. I used SC367 sketch for this card.
I'm trying to do more scrapbooking this year. This uses the SU Celebrations DSP (retired) and accents (available on clearance). I usedPaper Doll for Every Day and Jubilee welded on the gypsy. Paper is Melon Mambo, Soft Suede, and Pacific Point CS. I don't scrap in order and this is for a picture of grandaughter several years ago.
Here is a sketch that I used from Splitcoaststampers and 2 different cards from it. The first uses a stamp set from the Holiday Mini that just ended and the second uses PTI stamps. The paper is a retired DSP from Stampin up and Almost Amethyst CS as well as So Saffron and Pretty in Pink. I used the colors listed in the DSP to choose the colors. I didn't have Almost Amethyst ink so I used Wisteria Wonder ink which I think goes well. The pearls are Stampin Up. I also used punches from Martha Stewart and Stampin Up. I used the Tasteful Trim die from Stampin Up.
I am going to try to get some scrapbooking done since it seems like a long time since I did any.
Paper: Pear Pizzazz, Real Red, Pacific Point, and Celebration DSP (retired) as well as In Color and Brighs designer paper. I used Birthday Bash cricut cartridge for the title and presents. I used George for the circle. I spritzed the background. I still have a hard time getting the ink to spritz. I used Elegant Edges cartridge for the scalloped edge. This is for my son's birthday pictures with my granddaughter helping to open the presents. The red cardstock is for the mats for the pictures to go. I used a sketch by Stephanie Vaughn.
This is the first MOJO Monday card that I have posted and linked. It uses the Everyday Enchantment DSP from Sale A Bration as well as Elementary Elegance Stamp for the Butterfly. I turned it around and changed it a little bit but tried to follow the sketch. Paper: Peach Parfait, Poppy Parade, and Very Vanilla CS as well as the above. Ink: Poppy Parade and Peach Parfait. Tim Holtz distress ink on the edges. Crumb Cake for the background stamp Misc.: MS butterfly punch, SU embossing folders, large oval punch, dazzling diamonds, 2-way glue
I am going to have some challenges for the New Year. My first challenge is to do a card or scrapbook page using a stamp set you haven't used before but just had to have or one that you haven't used for a while.
Stamps: Butterfly Prints and
Punches: Butterfly, Oval, and Scalloped Oval, Eyelet, and Ribbon Lace
Ribbon: So Saffron retired ribbon
Paper: Baja Breeze, Spiced Cake, and Whisper White
